You Are

I think that this poem is pretty self explanatory.  It is obvious to me that it could be for no one else but my sweetheart, Analia. It was written for her Christmas Card this year. It is yet one more clumsy attempt at expressing my feelings for a very special lady that allows me to share her life.

You Are

You are the jewel
In my crown of gold.
You are my song
That can't grow old.

You are the stars
That fill my sky.
You are my life
And the reason why,

I rise each morn
And face the day
With hope renewed
In every way.

You fill my thoughts
When night is still
Mid mountain streams
And flowered hills,

And all the dreams
You've shared with me
And all the scenes
We've yet to see.

I live to hear
your laughter ring.
You are my life,
My everything.
