This is another birthday limerick. It was requested by my sweet wife for a card that she was sending to Nancy Gerber. This is by no means the first birthday limerick I have written and not even the first one I have written for Nancy.

When people we love get older,
Our birthday greetings get bolder
We try to make them smile
For just a little while,
Since they can’t cry on our shoulder.
