Bunnies, Kitties, And You
Analia
had just gotten home from shopping and she said that that she had a surprise
for me. But in order to get it I had to
do three things for her. The first was
to quit frowning. I still am not working
full time anywhere and I've been a little depressed. After showing her how ridiculous my face looks trying to smile when
the rest of my body is frowning, she conceded the point. The next was to take Jenny to dance lessons
and the last was to write a verse for Jenny's birthday card. She had a card with a bunny and a kitten on
the front and she wanted something that was appropriate. This poem was the result of that request.

Bunnies, Kitties, And You
The world is made up
of wonderful stuff,
Bunnies and kitties
and bears full of fluff,
skies full of clouds
and beaches of sand,
Woods full of wonder
that cover the land,
Gentle white ponies
with manes of fine silk,
Puppies with muzzles
the color of milk.
Of all of the wonders
'neath skies that are blue,
More than bunnies and kitties,
my favorite is you.
